Brian Skidmore[edit]

As far as I know, Brian Skidmore is not notable enough to belong in the list here, but I leave it to someone who knows more about prominent harmonicists to make the call. The name was added by a user who appears to have made only edits related to this one person, several of them looking like almost certain vanity edits. - Jmabel | Talk 04:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Baker Link[edit]

In the list of harmonica players, the Steve Baker link goes to a UK footballer, not to the well-known harp player and author of a book about harps. (I'm new to wp, and don't know how to fix it - maybe someone else does! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blues Master (talkcontribs) 28 September 2006.

Simple Kid[edit]

The article on Simple Kid does not mention him playing harmonica. Does someone have a citation that he does? - Jmabel | Talk 05:34, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dave Gage[edit]

Is there any evidence that Dave Gage meets Wikipedia's notability criteria for musicians? If not, I plan to cut him from here. - Jmabel | Talk 04:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Many people are very minor here; matters of failing to uphold wikipedia standards here[edit]

Is there any evidence that Stanley Behrens meets Wikipedia's notability criteria for musicians? If not, I plan to cut him from here. This should be a list of established, encyclopedia-worthy musicians. This is not a place for anyone and everyone who has done minor session or touring work on harmonica.

Please keep to wikipedia standards: Do not put in links to commercial (e.g., artists' myspace sites) or fan-oriented sites. Leave those things to the external links section of individual bio pages, if at all.Dogru144 02:23, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John Popper, perhaps the most famous living harmonica player[edit]

Surely this is POV?? How is he more famous than Stevie Wonder who happens to play harmonica too?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.140.114.53 (talk) 01:38, 19 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Alphabetical Order[edit]

Should there be some kind of order on the page, it really needs a clean up. (INXS-Girl 18:44, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cite references / sources[edit]

Why for crying out loud why should this article have to cite references/sources if 99.9% of the content is referring the reader to other articles? Please!!! trezjr (talk) 23:03, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
