List of former Presidents of the Philippines who ran again → ? – There has to be a clearer way to title this article without using the phrase "who ran again", but I have no idea, considering that the scope of this article is about presidents who apparently ran for any office after their presidency, even running for president again.   • Per Ammarpad, it's possible we should be asking if this page should exist. The category of post-presidencies exists because we have four notable articles on U.S. president post-presidencies. Is the concept of Filipino presidents running for other offices a notable concept, or just a cool FYI list that doesn't meet the standards of encyclopedic coverage? I don't read Tagalog, so it's very possible that coverage of this concept exists, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does not.--Yaksar (let's chat) 03:15, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • You missed pinging me and Steel1943, but I'll answer anyway: that's all fine and good, and I don't really feel this is a necessary article, but how to resolve the move request is the proximal issue. More or less[edit]

Article currently reads:

Since the adoption of the 1987 Constitution, a former president may not run for the office unless s/he has served more than 4 years; the previous 1973 constitution provided no limit while the 1935 constitution provided only one reelection. The term limit has prevented any incumbent president to run again for office; one exception was Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who has served for 3 and a half years prior to her election in 2004. (my emphasis)

That would make sense if it read less than rather than more than, and it shows other signs of having been written by someone who is not a native English speaker... who has served should probably read who had served.
