What qualifies as a "list of notable disc golf brands and manufacturers"[edit]

Since Praxidicae consistently removes all entries without a Wikipedia article. I'm here to argue for a more inclusive list and that the word "notable" is more of a disclaimer that this may not include all disc manufacturer in the world. Because, depending on where in the world you are, some brands may be easier to get your hands on. For example, Latitude 64 is a major brand and manufacturer that makes their own discs, Discmania's, Kastaplast's, Westside's and Dynamic Discs' discs. This makes these discs readily available in the Nordic countries since they are from Sweden and Finland.

Another thing that makes disc brands extra notable is the sponsorships. For example, 2022 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships was presented by Dynamic Discs. Kristin Tattar was the female winner and she is sponsored by Latitude 64. The male winner from 2021 World Championships was James Conrad and he is sponsored by MVP. The European Open was presented by Discmania and the winner Eagle Wynne McMahon is also sponsored by Discmania.

All the brands I've talked about above were removed from this list and I think we should bring them all back, including those I did not mention. Shower1080 (talk) 07:41, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Shower1080: If they are notable brands/manufacturers, then why not create articles based on reliable sources on them? – NJD-DE (talk) 08:28, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Let's just remove the word "notable" as it's not even in the tittle of the page. And then revert back all the manufacturers that Praxidicae removed. 89.41.48.227 (talk) 12:48, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not a directory. Simply removing the word "notable" and including entries randomly would go against that policy. – NJD-DE (talk) 22:42, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How about having a list of current disc manufacturers? I believe many used this page as a list to check who else is making discs. What manufacturers there are. Now it's just a list of few. Most of the biggest players are not mentioned in it's current form. Hount (talk) 11:28, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that just listing the manufacturers may be considered a directory. But for majority of readers it would offer the same functionality as this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_processors just for processors.
Now the information is nowhere to be found online (unless you know to look for the history) Hount (talk) 11:31, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
