Who should / shouldn't be listed[edit]

N.B. a resignation from government (e.g. Sajid Javid) is very different to a minister being invited to leave the government (e.g. Julian Smith). Note that in List of departures from the second May ministry, Justine Greening is listed because she turned down May's offer of a new job during the 2018 British cabinet reshuffle and resigned. However, Patrick McLoughlin is not listed as he was merely asked to leave. Reshuffles are unique in that the PM can sack ministers as they please – it would be more significant if they were to sack a minister in normal times (i.e. not during a reshuffle) and that would be worthy of inclusion on this list.
