Former bridges[edit]

There are photos here of the 26th Street Bridge, Alhambra Rail Bridge, North Main Street Bridge, and Ninth Street Bridge. These may be historic bridges. Someone with expertise in this area may want to add these bridges to the article. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:21, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Magnolia677: Great finds! Definately upload them to commons:Category:Bridges over the Los Angeles River. As for a home on Wikipedia, at least the Ninth and Main Street bridges would be notable enough for their own articles, since they have Historic American Engineering Records written up about them. An old picture, or a picture of a previous bridge on the site, would be very useful there. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 00:09, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Dayton Avenue Bridge (more commonly/recently known as the Riverside-Figueroa Bridge is also a former bridge, having been demolished/replaced in 2015, but I'm not sure exactly how that should be indicated in a list like this one. --Junkyardsparkle (talk) 01:07, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've greyed out the rows for the demolished bridges. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 02:20, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

wrong photo[edit]

The image supposedly depicting the bridge across the LA River carrying the US 101 (Santa Anna Freeway) is wrong. It is a photo of the I-10 Santa Monica Fwy crossing the LA river. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.84.41.173 (talk) 14:34, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
