Problems with this list[edit]

The current list is far from complete, and doesn't appear to have an active wikiproject or group of editors dedicated to keeping it up-to-date. An accurate list would be too long and unmaintainable. Per WP:CLN it is pointless to have this list when a more manageable Category:Credit unions of the United States with per-state subcategories, is already available. 67.101.5.177 (talk) 21:12, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It would probably be best to have an infobox (~~Infobox bank~~ perhaps?) which automatically categorized articles depending on what type of institution is specified (commercial bank, credit union, etc). This is a complete list of all the credit unions in the United States that have articles on Wikipedia. The corresponding category is divided into subcategories by state within the U.S. and this list provides a more user-friendly way to access the information. I agree that this list can never be complete or up-to-date. I deeply regret the opening paragraph did not mention it was a list of "notable" CU's with articles.
