Confusing Categorization[edit]

This list needs a bit of work. The biggest problem is that "Compositions with multiple arrangements" is presented as a defining category when it should only be a supplementary one - after all, many artists have made arrangements of Satie's music, so where do you draw the line? One confusing result of this is that none of Satie's best-known cabaret songs are listed in the "Cabaret Songs" category where they belong, simply because they exist in different instrumental versions. I'll have to get on it at some point. TheBawbb (talk) 02:31, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification[edit]

I've changed the title of the category "Piano solo" to "Piano music" because it also includes Satie's works for piano 4-hands. TheBawbb (talk) 04:07, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Prélude d'Eginhard has been moved from "Dramatic works" to "Individual pieces" for piano. Although the title suggests it might've been written for a play, there is no evidence at all of what Satie intended it for. TheBawbb (talk) 15:20, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
