It seems like it would make more sense to title these kinds of articles "List of companies in XXXX" instead of "List of XXXXese companies", because of the general complication in forming the proper "XXXXese" type name for each different country. 69.87.199.69 13:01, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm confused as to how Trend Micro should be listed. From what I can gather, it was created by two Taiwanese in 1988 in California, and it's now headquartered in Japan. However, it continues to be listed as one of the top Taiwanese global brands. Should it be listed as a Taiwanese company? Or should it be like it is now, as a company founded by Taiwanese? -- Masamunecyrus(talk)(contribs) 07:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I believe a period of the company's history was headquartering at Taipei, Taiwan. However, as of now, it has its HQ at Tokyo, Japan. As a result, I think being a company founded by Taiwanese would be more appropriate for current situation. g2g886 (talk) 04:48, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
