French Open overall playing record[edit]

Various news sources have reported that Andy Murray's record at the French Open is now the joint-sixth best of the Open Era: "making his fifth Roland Garros semi-final - the sixth best in the Open era". This has also been phrased as "Murray is only the eighth man to reach a fifth Roland Garros semi-final in the Open Era".
