Nice start[edit]

What would people think of breaking this up by country and/or continent - e.g.

  • Breakfast foods of North America (including central + carribbean
  • Breakfast foods of South America
  • Breakfast foods of Europe
  • Breakfast foods of Africa
  • Breakfast foods of Asia
  • Breakfast foods of Oceania

Note: Not creating new articles, but just individually sorted sections within this article. --Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 13:19, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sounds good to me. Go for it - or co-ordinate with original creator. Ottawahitech (talk) 04:16, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Doing so would create significant overlap, because many of the same breakfast foods are consumed on multiple continents. Northamerica1000(talk) 01:58, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Add breakfast cereals to this list[edit]

What desperately needs to be added to this list is breakfast cereals - the list has a breakfast bar, but typically, breakfast cereals are not in the form of cereal bars. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 23:33, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Breakfast cereal is on the list at this time. Northamerica1000(talk) 01:57, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

++ Gasp ++[edit]

Oh no; you guys have removed the favourite breakfast foods of half the world !!

Disruptive editing by a couple of editors is removing notable breakfast foods. Why? -Roxy, the dog. barcus 15:10, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Cause you don't provide any sources with the add. And seriously. Rat-on-a-stick? Is that even eaten for breakfast? --Tyw7 (🗣️ Talk) — If (reply) then (ping me) 15:58, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
All the breakfasts I added were notable. You can tell that because they have their own articles. This is standard practice throughout the project. Now stop vandalising this article. -Roxy, the dog. barcus 16:06, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
User:Northamerica1000, you wanna chime in? --Tyw7 (🗣️ Talk) — If (reply) then (ping me) 16:07, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And another thing. Read WP:NPA. -Roxy, the dog. barcus 16:08, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You may want to read that cause you did just that here and here --Tyw7 (🗣️ Talk) — If (reply) then (ping me) 16:11, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's just 'nonsense.' This is teh internetz. -Roxy, the dog. barcus 16:14, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop adding unreferenced food to the list[edit]

I see many people (me included but I had stopped) adding food to the list without any references. This can be seen as WP:POINTy. --Tyw7 (🗣️ Talk) — If (reply) then (ping me) 15:58, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it POINTY? -Roxy, the dog. barcus 16:10, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well it could be seen as disruptive as many of the items added didn't have any sources. Plus the rats on the stick entry looks like it was added for shock value. --Tyw7 (🗣️ Talk) — If (reply) then (ping me) 21:54, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Add Raita[edit]

There should be Raita added to it because that is a very popular breakfast food in India. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 364889c (talkcontribs) 18:03, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
