Untitled[edit]

This article has been renamed from United States Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to United States Ambassador to Saudi Arabia as the result of a move request.

This article is identical to United States Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Shouldn't one redirect to the other? Turgidson 06:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no clickable link to the ambassador of the mid-1940s, William A. Eddy. There is now a separate Wiki article about him that should be linked to this list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.58.66.205 (talk) 17:04, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move?[edit]

Moved from WP:RM:

  • Comment I think it might belong at List of United States Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia. If the page is intended to actually discuss these ambassadors and the position of the post in general then your move is good... but if it's going to remain just a list then it should be moved to a list title. gren グレン 22:54, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • The articles are intended to give background on the post and list the ambassadors. Over the past several years hundreds of such articles have been created (see Template:Ambassadors of the United States) so I was just following precedent for the naming scheme.
