Removal of pictures column
I removed the pictures column from this list today. This list appeared on the Pages containing an unusually high number of non-free files report at the #3 position. 43 non-free files were being used in this list, constituting a majority of the images present. This dramatically exceeds our stands for the inclusion of non-free content, violating WP:NFCC #3a restrictions on minimal use, as further detailed at WP:NFLISTS. Further, these non-free images can and should be (and in at least most cases are) used on specific articles about these pilots, as opposed to a list here. Furthermore, I reviewed the images and found that none of them had appropriate rationales. This violates WP:NFCC #10c. Since finding free images of many of these pilots is, at best, problematic due to almost all of them being dead, having a pictures column invites non-free content, and as noted pictures of the pilots can appear on their respective articles. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Born in Berlin to an Austrian diplomat and his English wife. Eighteen including shares from the Battle of France and Battle of Britain - does he go in this list? Or the Austrian one? GraemeLeggett (talk) 20:10, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Comparision
I've looked over some other Lists of "Aces of ..." and found no other whith comments like this artikle has. Is there any reason for this? Or is it just a lack at the orther lists?--WerWil (talk) 18:51, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
The link for Friedrich Hoffmann is incorrect. Can anyone remove this please? I'm not that computer-savvy.
Sortable Lists
