110 episodes[edit]

Why are hour long episodes counted as one episode? They have two production codes, therefore, they should count as two episodes. Jon23812 (talk) 22:09, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes with two production codes have been identified by Disney as a single one-hour episode, not two episodes. We are obliged to comply with Wikipedia:Verifiability, meaning that if Disney says that it's a one-hour episode, we have to treat it as such. --AussieLegend (talk) 04:53, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can I have the link where Disney says that? Jon23812 (talk) 21:06, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you go back through the edit histories of the season articles you can find all the relevant citations. For example, the citation for "Who Will Be the Family Wizard" is ""Disney Channel and Disney Junior January 2012 Highlights". Disney Channel Media Net. January 4, 2012. p. 1. Retrieved January 5, 2012.". It says that, despite having two production codes, it is "a special one-hour episode". The citation for "Wizards vs. Angels" was from the Futon Critic, which reproduces network press releases. The one for that episode, which also has two production codes, says that Wizards vs. Angels is "a new episode" (not new episodes).[1] --AussieLegend (talk) 09:46, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. Jon23812 (talk) 22:03, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex[edit]

I'm creating an article for the 2013 special. If anyone would like to help me out, the article is being created at my sandbox and I would love for people to contribute! Thanks to anyone who can contribute! ChicagoWiz 14:54, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Spells all over the episode entries — is it necessary?[edit]

I know that Wizards of Waverly Place has a lot of magic and spellcasting by Justin, Alex and Max, and no doubt magic has plenty of prominence in the series. But as I'm going thru the episode lists, I'm asking whether these spells should be listed from each episode. Need some further input, as this seems to be treading on WP:IINFO/trivia. Will keep spells listings in the episodes, pending further discussion. MPFitz1968 (talk) 20:49, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I have removed the spells, magical beings, objects, etc., from all of the episode summaries across the four season articles ... two years after I initially brought this up. MPFitz1968 (talk) 06:39, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@MPFitz1968: On the bright side, at least you finally got to it! --IJBall (contribstalk) 07:51, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
