Ordering[edit]

The page was previously arranged by the date of publication. I've added in any spin-offs I was aware had been missed and the page seemed cluttered, so I've regrouped and rodered by Category. Full Length Comics, Miniseries, then One shots (they're conronological within that and I've dated them).--Orias 18:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removals[edit]

I've removed The "Prez" comics from the list because the comic's article would suggest (Prez (DC Comics)) that it is very definitely no spin off.--Orias 18:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the following as I personally wouldn't count a companion as a spinoff: "The Sandman Companion by Hy Bender (2000), a non-fiction work providing extra information about the series. Its first section discusses the ten Sandman collections sequentially; analysing their meaning, explaining some of Neil Gaiman's myriad of references, and sometimes providing information on the writing of the comics. The book also features a lengthy interview Neil Gaiman himself on the topic of the series."--Orias 18:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving?[edit]

Considering moving this page to The World of The Sandman or other, more inclusive title. The new page would focus on Sandman-related connections, including previous work (like PREZ and non-fiction work such as Bender's work.

What do you think?

I would argue that the article certainly deserves it's own page, as the sandman article would just become horrendously long, and there's no way you can really condense that much information without missing stuff out, as the main part of the article is pretty much a list of publications. Maybe this calls for a "Click for full article" jobby.

That said, change in title, etc, probably a good thing. The article kinda needs an overhaul. I suppose something about the "what is canonical and what isn't debate" would be useful. I wish I could remember the article where Gaiman effectively disowns every story that wasn't written by him or Mike Carey... Hmm. --129.67.3.2 09:22, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Some of the dates are missing, still need to look them up.--Orias 18:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
