Missing plaques[edit]

What order is this list put in? Because I know of two plaques that should be added to the list.

I honestly wonder if there are more that aren't covered here. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 11:53, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am at a loss to explain the default order; perhaps editors have merely been adding onto the end. However, it's a sortable list, so we only need click the appropriate header to get the order we like. Meanwhile I see that the Historical Marker Database seeks to cover approximately the same markers, with a usually more detailed description of each, including a photo and a map of nearby markers. HMDB usually has more markers in a given area than we do. And yes, many HMDB markers that ought to be here are not, and vice versa. Where both cover the same marker, we don't always have a link to HMDB, and even if Wikidata has an item for the marker, ENWP list articles don't always link to it, nor WD to HMDB.
