Pierce an only child
Article says Pierce is an only child. The next sentence talks about his sister. I'm no expert on family relationships, but... Belltower (talk) 23:21, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
Hawkeye's apparel
Could it be that this character wears Aloha shirts off duty? In the episode "The Shirt" in season 7 of The Middle (TV series), Mike Heck is wearing such a shirt, and everybody cracks Hawaii jokes, calls him "Hawkeye" and asks for Trapper John. --Hodsha (talk) 13:53, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
What really happened to Frank?
In the section on Frank, there's some new OR and speculation that should be addressed. The editor raises the possibility that Frank was making it up in the phone call in "Fade In, Fade Out" when he reported to the camp that he'd been transferred to Indiana and promoted to Lt. Colonel, and if Frank wasn't telling the truth in that phone call, we don't really know what happened to him. The show never questioned Frank's version of events. Should this article entertain the possibility that Frank was lying? JTRH (talk) 13:34, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- The show leaves Burn's fate unclear. Burns is last seen on the show in a mental meltdown brought on by Margaret's wedding. In the subsequent episode; Potter learns, through a series of phone calls, that Burns has been institutionalized. His later (alleged) vindication is unverified. Anything beyond that is speculation. The Burns character here is incorrectly referred to as a Democrat. He's clearly a Republican. When reading B.J. Hunnicutt's file before the latter's first arrival, Frank says to Hot Lips, "You know, Margaret, I had a dream, I'll bet he's a Republicana." To which Hot Lips replies, "Oooh ... That would almost be too much to ask for." Also, Burns' wife would naturally be stuffing envelopes for the Republican club, just as her husband would were he home. Burns wasn't objecting to that. This conversation comes during a discussion with psychiatrist Sydney Freedman. That isn't the point of the line, it's a throw-in to show his wife is becoming more active within their social circle, not that she's defying her husband.
