I gather that this page ignores Hooker's novels following the original MASH (these are described at M*A*S*H (novels). (In fact, even the original novel is somewhat slighted, and even the film, in favor of the TV series -- note the omission of Duke, which I just corrected). Thus the last appearance for Duke is given as "the novel", although he appeared in all or some of the followup novels. I presume this, although I haven't read them; and a lot of people haven't (although many also did, they sold OK probably or he wouldn't have kept writing them).
So anyway this is not correct, and this article assume that "canon" is the first novel, the film, the TV show, and the TV shows AfterMASH and Trapper John, MD, but NOT the followup novels. This seems a bit odd and sort of random. Just pointing this out. 19:38, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
