Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of Kentucky supplemental roads and rural secondary highways (500–999) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 20:47, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Kentucky supplemental roads and rural secondary highways (3500–6999)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:27, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Route descriptions[edit]

Most KY routes 2000 and above are generally fairly short. Some are/were merely bridges carrying an unnumbered route over an interstate or parkway and some were frontage roads some were new shortcuts. There are also many that are the original parts of major roads that were updated nearby.

If a road was once part of a major route, that seems important to note and sometimes is the best way to describe it. This aspect is not noted or even alluded to in many the current descriptions. I looked over some and I would not recognize many of the roads I know because their descriptions seemed strange - they rarely mention anything like "Old US-31" in them.
