Alice[edit]

Misaki's alice is doppelganger. I actually found out that a doppelganger is a ghostly double of a person that haunts its flesh counterpart. This is just my opinion, but I think that Misaki's doubles are sort of...weird. Can you tell me what you think?68.110.232.148 23:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In episode number 23 of the anime, Narumi is talking about a person with the same nullification alice as Mikan. He says that the person criticized the academy. The person that he is talking about seems to be that person, who is later revealed to be Mikan's mom, but Mikan's mom had the alice stealing alice according to the manga, so that doesn't make much sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.68.72.88 (talk) 02:03, August 26, 2007 (UTC) Misaki's alice is probably closer to 'clone'. Hrmm... I've only seen the anime and don't know much about the manga. Taking a quick peek at the Japanese Wikipedia, though, there seems to be a character named 小泉月 Koizumi Runa listed (since that's the kanji for moon, maybe "Luna" is the correct romanization). --EmperorBrandon 03:32, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Differentiate between manga and anime characters[edit]

Well in animes,its always like that.They do not even join the other characters in the anime.I was really also confused,I always ask to myself "cnu b yan?"because of the characters that only can be seen on manga! T^T

Tonouchi Akiyoshi? Tonouchi Akira?[edit]

There's a confusion between the names? I went to the Japanese Wiki and saw the katakana given. I also went here to translate it. I know it's unreliable, but then I requested my sister to check again the katakana using her kanji dictionary. It's Tonouchi Akira and not Tonouchi Akiyoshi. Okay, here's the katakana: とのうち あきら

But if it was "Tonouchi Akiyoshi" it wouldn't be 明良 isn't it. Can anybody tell me if it is Kokoroyomi or Yome Kokoro? if it is Kokoroyomi then please would someone separate his first name with his last?

On character spoilers[edit]

This page has too much spoilers on the characters. Perhaps a spoiler alert on the top of the page would be enough to warn any new fans. (I don't know how to do that though.) Angie sash 11:17, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merging of individual character articles[edit]

The individual character articles that have been created off of this article should be merged back in. They fail WP:FICT, establish no real-world notability to support being separate, and are likely to be deleted if editors are not proactive about going ahead and taking care of the issues. So far, I've only tagged one for merging, but would really like a discussion on merging all of them in.

I'd also like to suggest this page's list be pared down to remove the minor characters who play only bit parts in the series and have no real notability or significant influence to the anime or manga series as a whole. I'm not particularly familiar with this series, but from a quick scan it looks like most of the characters in the "Miscellaneous" section are minor characters that don't need to be included. The character plays a significant role in the series and is one of the major character. He is a part of the faculty and staff, not listed under Miscellaneous and the character has a major interaction with the main character. The page "Narumi" should not be merged. None of the individual characters pass the notability criteria on an individual bases. They also contain an excessive amount of plot detail with violates WP:NOT#PLOT and needs to be trimmed down significently. Characters don't receive individual article because they play a significant role in the plot, instead, they get individual articles if they are proven to be notable by being covered by reliable third-party sources. "Narumi" is a common Japanese surname and given name. And it's also a geographic name in Japan. I don't think it's appropriate to use "Narumi" for just one character. So it should be merged or moved. Asience (talk) 06:56, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge per above, no one as even bothered to keep the the main list up to date with the individuals articles which have been unevenly kept up to date. The style of those updates more blog like. The whooping ratio between size of the article and the size of the inserted images in those individuals articles (Natsume Hyūga : 18KB article, 660KB images), Wikipedia bandwidth thanks you. --KrebMarkt 19:23, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matsudaira Hayate instead of Matsudaichi Hayate[edit]

Gonna make the edit for Hayate, who is a side character appearing in the manga. I don't know why it was Matsudaichi in the first place..I'm looking at the furigana for his name in the character profile (Profile34, page 7 of volume 11 chapter 62) and it definitely looks like a ra and not a chi, which has an extra connected stroke across at the top.

Checking up Jim Breen's dictionary also gives me "松平 【まつだいら】 Matsudaira (p,s) 【まつへい】 Matsuhei (s) 【しょうへい】 Shouhei (s,g) 【まつたいら】 Matsutaira (s) 【まつひら】 Matsuhira (s)", but no Matsudaichi. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.239.5.62 (talk) 14:35, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding editing[edit]

I was surprised to find out that character profile of the protagonist was deleted. I've already placed it back with the reference. In Natsume Hyuuga's article, someone actually placed "I wish there was a kissing scene between Natsume and Mikan in the anime" or something similar to that. I had edited it already. I totally agree on that. I also found many spelling mistakes on this article. I cannot believe someone spelt 'temporarily' wrong, unless if the editor was in grade 5.
