I thought so too, but the individual character pages are all still listed in Category:EastEnders characters. I know, I still don't like them, but this way the redirects can be in the characters category (which satisfies me), and we can do more characters without their articles being tagged for importance. Split?[edit]

How do you propose it is split? I dont know what would be a good way to split it to be honest, i'm just imagining that it will get really big as we are much more thorough about adding minor characters now. We could either split from 2005-2006, and make another from 2007-2009, but the 2007-2009 is likely to get very big also. It could be split yearly. What's the limit for page size or doesnt it matter?

If you think size wont be an issue then lets leave it. However I do think we should rename it 2005-2009 sooner rather than later, because it will be less of a chore to do it now than in 2010 (by which time we will probably all have given up on the project anyway, lol).Gungadin 15:06, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I think changing present to 2009 is a bit WP:CRYSTALish... for all we know, EastEnders could be scrapped by then, so renaming actually can't be done until 2010 (or the end of the series if that's sooner!)
