Notability of one-off characters[edit]

Many characters on the "Minor characters" list appeared in only one episode and do not appear to be inherently notable. I propose removing characters that are not recurring. 青い(Aoi) (talk) 19:04, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the information once and was promptly reverted. I posted to the user's talk page, and am posting here: Please read Wikipedia:PLOT and Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(writing_about_fiction). Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, and lists of one-off characters described from an in-universe perspective are discouraged by Wikipedia guidelines.
