Episode order and production codes[edit]

Something is off with the episode order. Check http://www.tv.com/captain-planet-and-the-planeteers/show/2579/episode.html

The ones on the Turner site agree with this, but they don't mention air dates. The order here just seems to refer to "production code", whatever that means. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.249.31.69 (talk) 08:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is something wrong with episodes order: http://www.tv.com/shows/captain-planet-and-the-planeteers/episodes/

states that '101 mutations' was aired on 9/16/1995 and some other sources put its production code between 'An Eye for an Eye' and 'Whoo Gives a Hoot?' making it 2. episode of 6. season... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.136.47.86 (talk) 01:33, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's great that we now have an actual source for the episode production codes. However, we have no way to verify that these images are real, nor do they provide information for more than a dozen of the show's 100+ episodes. Does anyone know where these images came from? Does anyone know where to find more? 73.231.146.229 (talk) 23:07, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Overly detailed sections[edit]

I have just shortened the descriptions for episodes 25, 26, and 100. Their descriptions were far, far too long and detailed for the tone of a Wikipedia article, and so I used previous revisions to replace them. Remember that a plot description is meant only to summarize the article in a few lines, and not to give extremely specific details. Also, avoid fancruft and give it a neutral point of view. —Onore Baka Sama(speak | stalk) 16:37, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images as sources for production codes[edit]

Do these images need to comply with Wikipedia:Image use policy?

I was going to convert the bare links into more fleshed out citations, but I'm not sure how I would go about doing so as they are simply hosted on imgur without any additional publishing information.

Does anyone know how these were obtained and if permission was given to have the cover pages made public? Jiltedsquirrel (talk) 01:23, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Future Retrospectives[edit]

Already some of the Captain Planet episodes in this article have some footnotes and other trivia with regards to its reception. In time, a few of these episodes will reach retrospective levels, such as this article I found for the episode "If It's Doomsday, It Must Be Belfast." The website BelfastLive tracked down the writer Doug Molitor to give his thoughts on the creation and backlash over the episode. There's even a fact on how he had to fight the higher ups for a scene in "Mind Pollution," hinting that the episode may have seen a forced revision had the censorship board/standards and practices division rejected the scene of Boris's death. Some of the episodes may end up getting articles of their own, especially if these episodes carry great significance to the series and broadcast animation. What are your thoughts on possible articles for those two episodes? Is the article I shared eligible for inclusion? ElMeroEse (talk) 20:26, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
