Is the * on the list for being inducted as a manager, or just generally being inducted? If the former, that should be made more clear on the page. If the latter, the page is certainly wrong, as Cy Young is in the hall. 2620:0:1004:0:BE30:5BFF:FED0:81FC (talk) 21:30, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The article for Joseph F. Smart, a Wisconsin politician, claims he was "He also was a manager of the Boston Red Sox baseball team" (presumably about the turn of the 20th century). He's not listed here (I'm guessing "a manager" means "some managerial post", not "the team manager").
