Objective[edit]

After creating and starting to add the information, it has become clear that the ASSIs need divided up into council areas, as with SSSIs. I plan to continue adding information and then to break off at some point to separate as suggested. --Setanta747 (talk) 09:04, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date[edit]

This article seems very out of date. List of Areas of Special Scientific Interest in County Antrim alone lists many more ASSIs than this. Should this article perhaps be merged with List of Sites of Special Scientific Interest by Area of Search, and the info here spread among the N Irish counties, which each have a page now (List of ASSIs in Northern Ireland#Northern Ireland)? Or this article made into a disambiguation page on its own and the info merged into each county?

It seems inadequate and perhaps misleading as it stands, suggesting a lower number of ASSIs in Northern Ireland than is the case. Penguin2006 (talk) 05:34, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
