Lian YuLian Yu (politician) – Or would Lian Yu (diplomat) do? Either way we have to differentiate from the Arrow episode and the eponymous island. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:13, 17 June 2019 (UTC)--Relisted. – Ammarpad (talk) 08:50, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looking at the pageviews, how sure are we that the interest in Lian Yu (Arrow) and Lian Yu (Arrowverse location) won't fade away in a few years, once the TV series ends? —BarrelProof (talk) 19:14, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Real people should logically take precedence over fictional elements except in very rare cases. In this case, one episode of one TV series plus a redirect just don't cut it. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:39, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: BarrelProof, because Arrow, like Smallville, is a milestone in superhero television (not a fad like Powerless or Inhumans) in which interest doesn't look like it's gonna fade anytime soon. And Lian Yu was a particularly important episode for the entire series. --Kailash29792 (talk) 15:43, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - the politician is a stub article and page views clearly show that even though it occupies the primary topic, it receives less than the episode (the location redirect is pretty new so not much to compare there). --Gonnym (talk) 15:04, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - the politician, who dates to the nineteenth century and is a real-life person, seems to have clear long-term significance compared with a single episode of a recent TV series. The extra page views for the TV episode are mainly due to WP:RECENTISM.  — Amakuru (talk) 13:50, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
