Up sticks means that he's picked up his belongings and travelled. Its from the game, pick up sticks, I dare say. other players were Ross McCormack on loan from Rangers, who was very well received. Lewis Guy came in from Newcastle too. Not to mention favourites returning from injury like Neil Roberts.
