I feel sorry for anyone who invested in this sincere effort. What is there now---a fireworks superstore. The real reason it failed was Allentown Mayor Bill Heydt bringing the short-lived Allentown Ambassadors. There was very little regional effort (at least coordinated) in the 90s to attract minor-league sports and quality entertainment to a Lehigh Valley that was so far behind in the game that it wasn't funny. At least we got our Iron Pigs despite over a quarter-century of obstacles.---Heff01 (talk) 01:11, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
