Ronald Reagan LSC issue[edit]

it has coem to my attention that my edit re: the unsourced claim that ronald reagan tried to destroyor hated the LEgal Services Corporation is controversial. i was hoping taht we could resolvet his issue here on the talkpage with a satisfactory link. I am not a political scientist or involed with researching politifsc so it is hard for me to develop sources that would prove or disprove this claim, but i stil feel that its important that we have a source for something that is apparent controversial on its face. if anyoen reading this has the time and revorces then please give us a hand here thank you! :) Smith Jones (talk) 15:51, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
never mind, it seems as if User:CoolCaesar has already done the work. thank you!!! Smith Jones (talk) 15:52, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Legal Aid in the States[edit]

Because there is no standardized Federal program for universal civil legal aid, the States have been left to impliment funding and programs on their own. I've tried to cover New York and California, but each state will have a slightly different approach.

Civil legal aid impact in the latino community[edit]

AngelaEJimenezP (talk) 23:20, 25 April 2019 (UTC) Hello,[reply]

I wanted to see how the people who have worked on this page would feel about me adding a new section under "Impact", titled "Civil legal aid impact in the latino community" where basically I write about the accessibility and impact of civil legal aid amongst the latino community? Please let me know if you have any thoughts or questions.

Shapiro v. Thompson[edit]

I added a small amount of information about Shapiro v. Thompson. It was a significant case in LSC's history which is discussed on the Shapiro v. Thompson wiki page which was just overhauled. I wanted to link it on this page so people are able to find the case and vise versa. Apeoples7 (talk) 06:38, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
