The lead section says that "... armed fighters for the Armed Islamic Group of Algeria stormed the headquarters ..." However, this statement is not supported by the sources, which say a bomb exploded outside the building that housed several newspapers. Nobody admitted responsibility at the time and none of the sources say that the "Armed Islamic Group of Algeria" were responsible. Although one source does say that this group ware responsible for a lot of the journalists killed, to say so in this case is an improper SYNTHESIS of the sources. - 203.96.84.33 (talk) 02:07, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
