Removed tag to airports project. Lasham is not an airport. JMcC 08:38, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Restored tag. While it may not quite fit under the definition of an "airport", the project covers, airfields, aerodromes, airports, airparcs, heliports, etc and is valid. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:35, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
but completely unnecessary. Article already uses the standard template, has the necessary categories, photo and all the info applicable. Suggestions on where it might be cleaned-up have been requested from CambridgeBayWeather JMcC 11:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Surely Lasham is not the largest gliding club in the world, comparing the clubs in Australia and U.S. Can someone verifiy this and change it please? Perhaps to largest in the europe.En51cm 17:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK I have modified the claim. Lasham has 650 full flying members as measured by the capitation charge paid to the British Gliding Association. In this charge there are adjustments made for cadet and student members, which makes the real total even larger. I would be interested to know of a larger club. Bear in mind that the large population in the USA is spread over a large area. JMcC 12:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
