Subscribers paying for & not getting Lapham's Quarterly[edit]

Has anyone else paid for a subscription to Lapham's Quarterly magazine and not received it? I was gifted a 2 year subscription (8 issues, $160), and only got 1 issue. I believe this nonprofit is a scam to get people to buy their magazine while they hide behind their nonprofit designation. The problem is, because they are a nonprofit, they can delete or hide bad reviews and continue scamming people with fake subscription offers. This isn't a small scam, their magazines are in popular bookstores and websites. There are articles raving about this magazine, published by writers in renowned newspapers and magazines. When you subscribe you don't get the magazine, and it's $20 an issue. Has this happened to anyone else? (ArtisticReading Gardener) 18:53, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
