Khaled[edit]

Khaled is not French-born! (by 85.250.164.11 (talk) at 01:39, 7 October 2010)

Polnareff should be the main focus[edit]

This is such an injustice to highlight a much later cover version in this way. I will try to rectify this by giving the Michel Polnareff song its true historical priority werldwayd (talk) 16:27, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have rectified matters now giving the article better focus werldwayd (talk) 14:38, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scott McKenzie[edit]

Scott McKenzie (San Francisco) did this song in America too. (by 87.173.184.212 (talk) at 16:05, 10 October 2013)

Article is structured to emphasize only a recent cover version. —§—T3g5JZ50GLq (talk) 04:30, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is some good focus on Polnareff. It may not be enough, but we have far more than many other songs. You and anybody else can add what's needed. As to dividing the page into two, actually no, as the Mylène Farmer and Khaled version is nothing unique, same music, same lyrics. So I am opposed to splitting. They and other versions should remain on one page. It's that type of a song. But true, Polnareff may need more focus. werldwayd (talk) 20:34, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per WP:NSONGS. Never understood the idea that an article about a song should be separated between performers. Seems to be a lot of fluff about NN performers that could be trimmed. --Richhoncho (talk) 10:02, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
