The origin of the name "Le Ngoa Trieu"[edit]

In the Complete Book of the Later Le Dynasty, it was recorded: "the King was infatuated with debauch, that he developed hemorrhoids." Kham dinh Viet su Thong giam cuong muc section under the Nguyen dynasty also quoted and affirmed that Le Long Dinh had hemorrhoids due to his condition of satyriasis, forcing him had to lie down during his court session, which is why he was called Le Ngoa Trieu .
