capital city of Kwilu[edit]

Comparing the different Wikipedias, there are different information about which one is the capital city of Kwilu Province. Mainly the English Wikipedia states that Bandundu is the capital while most other Wikipedias state that ~~Kwilu~~ Kikwit is the capital city. There are arguments for both: an official document that is used as a reference here (strong pro Bandundu): [1] and for example this article from the well known newspaper Radio Okapi [2] that could be used to prove that Kikwit is seen as a capital city. Here is a Radio Okapi link [3] that states that Bandundu is the capital. The English Wikipedia was recently changed to Bandundu by someone else and I added the reference supporting Bandundu because to me, as an organic law, it is the definite reference on provincial capitals. I think the confusion arises because ~~Kwilu~~ Kikwit used to be the capital of Kwilu District. Zoocat56 (talk) 11:04, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
