Selected Works[edit]

We need a list of selected works to change the article from stub to "short but useful". As I have written in the German Wikipedia, I don't know yet how to justify inclusion of which works into such an abbreviated list of works. Am working on it.-- Zufus (talk) 14:29, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Subjective choices would include - limiting myself to those I've run into myself at least indirectly - the early but impressive third and fourth string quartets and cello sonata, the 2nd symphony, the later string trio. The latter two works, along with Struwwelpeter and the symphony for strings and some organ and choral works, I know have been recorded commercially. Probably does not address the question alas.
