Clergy was not minimal!

Out of the 4 main lines of the fmaily 3 were Calvinist till the 1890s, and even 1950s. I know of at least 10 pastors, so I suggest the information about their links with the Reformed Church stay. ~~

Many were indeed Calvinists and the reference should certainly stay. The majority were Roman Catholic but yet the two familiy segments remained close. The calvinists were mostly in western Poland (actually Royal Prussia during the Partition of Poland and converted into Calvinisim) and tended to add 'von" to the name. The RC's were mostly in Poland. One further note: The Kurnatowski's were united by the adoption of one of its members to become Hrabia Lodzia Novina Kurnatowski-Miezynski in late 19th century. The Miezynski family (which was large) was one of the largest and wealthiest of the "magnates". My sources are my family records. ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vumba (talkcontribs) 14:35, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
