Main characters Abhi (played by Shabir Ahluwalia) & Pragya (played by Sriti Jha) exited from show in November 2021, so why it's written as (2014-2022), it should be (2014-2021). Their last appearance in show was on 1st December 2021, in episode number 2010. Kumkum Bhagya is a love story of Pragya and Abhi who are destined to be together against all odds. The story is about Pragya Arora, a humble teacher, and a rock star Abhishek Mehra. Sarla Arora runs a marriage hall and lives with the hope of seeing her two daughters happily married. Pragya, the elder daughter, is practical, hardworking and teaches at a college. Bulbul, the younger daughter, is outgoing and has her head in the clouds. The show follows the lives of the two sisters and their hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Pragya, who is the elder daughter, is hardworking and, practical. She teaches at a college. The other daughter of Sarla is dreamy; she always has her head in the clouds. She also has a job. At the beginning of the show there develops a love triangle between Suresh, Bulbul and, Pragya. Pragya fell for Suresh and, he fell for Bulbul. Pragya and, Suresh get engaged, but this engagement is canceled. Then enters Abhi, who is Purab's friend and, is also a rock star. Bulbul and, Purab though hated in other in the past but their lives take such turns that both of them fall in even with each other. Purab is already engaged to Aliya.

Season - 1

The series begins with a short-lived love triangle between Pragya - Suresh Srivastav - Bulbul, leading to the cancellation of Pragya and Suresh engagement. In parallel, Abhishek is in a relationship with the supermodel, Tanushree. Purab Khanna is Abhishek's best friend and engaged to his sister, Aliya. However, Purab and Bulbul fall in love but in a bitter twist of fate, Aliya, Tanu and Abhishek feels that Purab loves Pragya. The trio plans revenge and arranges for Pragya to marry Abhishek. Post-marriage, Pragya realizes the truth and accepts the blame to protect Bulbul. On the day the marriage is fixed for Purab and Aliya, Purab abandons Aliya and marries Bulbul. Various situations and circumstances bring Abhishek and Pragya closer. Realising the wrongdoings of Aliya and Tanushree, Abhishek reconciles with Purab and Bulbul.Slowly Pragya starts feeling love for Abhishek,she proposed him. Abhishek also started feel for her. Later Abhi and pragya fall in love.Desperate to get Abhishek back, Tanushree fakes a DNA report to imply that he is the father of her unborn child, which is actually the result of a one-night stand between her and Nikhil. Pragya realises the truth but suffers an accident and is declared dead, before she could reveal the truth to Abhishek. abhishek waits for her return. season 1 end with Abhi Pragya seperation.

Season 2

The story takes a 2-month leap and Pragya returns to exact revenge on her wrongdoers.She took over all of Abhi's properties and started ruling over Abhi and his family.Abhi started hates her from this.But then the truth starts to reveal that she has come back into his life to protect him from his evil sister Alia and ex-girlfriend Tanu.In the meantime, jealousy and hatred begins to grow in the relationship of Bulbul, Purab, and Aliya. Bulbul risks her life and dies while saving Pragya from Aliya.The season ends with Pragya exposing cheater Tanushree & her sister's murderer Alia and winning back Abhishek's trust.They propose each other. However, Abhishek gets into an accident and loses his memory, which was created by Nikhil , Tanu & Alia for Pragya. He forgets the last two-and-a-half years of his life, including Pragya. She leaves Abhishek for his protection but does not divorce him. the destiny separate abhi pragya.

Season 3

To save Kumkum Bhagya Marriage Hall, Pragya begins to work as a receptionist at the Love Life Music Company, where she meets Abhishek again and Later Abhishek makes her his personal secretary and brings her to his house.abhi and pragya begins to form a deep friendship.Taking advantage of his memory loss, Aliya schemes to get Tanushree married to Abhishek. Pragya and Abhishek fall in love but he is compelled to marry Tanushree as her mother's last wish to see her daughter happy. Nikhil kidnaps Pragya on the day of Abhishek's wedding and he leaves the rituals to save her.He saves her and propose her for marriage and they both get marries again in the forest. After the wedding, both Abhishek pragya meet in an accident,from which Abhishek regains his memory. but he loses pragya soon after when goons hired by Nikhil shoots her, and she falls into the dam.Abhishek searches for her but he lose her. He kills the goon (dushyant) who shooted Pragya and throws Alia and Tanun out of his house.

Season 4

A couple of weeks pass, Abhishek is still searching for Pragya, and comes across a villager named Munni, who is Pragya's lookalike. Abhishek takes Munni home to save her from terrorist attacks. Alia and Tanu blackmail Munni to come back to Abhishek's house.Pragya returns to Mumbai after being in coma, meets Munni, and swaps places to enter the Mehra household.Abhishek get her Pragya back. In the meantime, Purab meets Disha and get married.they falling in love each other after their marriage.Pragya saves Abhishek's life multiple times from a mysterious woman who turns out to be Simonika his secretary. She wants revenge from Abhishek for killing Dushyant (abhishek kill dushyant for shooting pragya) her husband. Tanushree deals with Simonika to spare Abhishek's life and kill Pragya instead.abhishek's grandmother succumbs to bullet injuries suffered at the hands of Simonika,and Makes pragya responsible for grandmother's death.Abhi's heartbroke after his grandmother death.He holds Pragya responsible for his grandmother death and banishes her from his lives. This season end with, a devastated and grief-stricken Pragya is attempting suicide by jumping from the top of a cliff.

Season 5

7years later, The Mehra family now reside in New Delhi, but the entire dynamics of the family has changed. Abhi is married to Tanu, Aliya manages Abhi's career and business assets, and Purab and Disha have a son named Sunny.Abhi and Tanu share no husband-wife relationship whatsoever and even sleep in separate bedrooms. Although the rest of the family (except Aliya and Tanu) miss Pragya dearly, Abhi still bitterly hates her for Dadi's death while struggling to suppress his love towards her. 7 Years Later Meanwhile, Pragya survived her suicide attempt and now resides in the U.K. She is the manager of King Singh, a London-based rapper and has a daughter named Kiara. Although Abhi is Kiara's biological father, King has named himself Kiara's legal father and loves her as if she is his own, and Abhi has no idea Pragya has given birth to his daughter. The three of them live together in the same house, but King and Pragya are not married and she only claims to be so in order to get King out of bad situations (like getting thrown in jail). It is unknown when King and Pragya met and under what circumstances, but they both show a mutual friendship towards one another. While Pragya has taken Abhi's words to heart and still feels responsible for Dadi's death,. Abhi in Delhi and King in London both receive a contract to work on a world music album from a Delhi-based organizer. Believing she is the reason for his success, King asks Pragya to accompany him to Delhi and bring Kiara with her. Although hesitant at first, Pragya agrees thinking that she will not run into Abhi, completely oblivious to the fact that the Mehra family now lives in Delhi. Abhi come to pick his grandmother sister from the airport, coincidentally on the same day King, Pragya, and Kiara land in Delhi. At the airport, Abhi and Pragya feel each other's presence for the first time in seven years but do not come face-to-face.But he met his daughter kiara for the first time. Although, Rhea loves her family dearly she is arrogant and egoistic always willing to get what she wants. The sisters soon become enemies at a college and Rhea's hatred for her twin sister increases when the college heartthrob, Ranbir Kohli (Rhea's childhood friend whom both have had a crush on each other for years) becomes close to Prachi and they both eventually fall in love after many events.

@MMY17: Hi there, do you see the giant notice at the top of the Former cast section that says that the Former cast section should be incorporated back into Main and Recurring? That's because there should be no Former cast section. The former cast is as important as the current cast, from an academic perspective. So the answer to your first question: If a main character dies and they are listed in the Main cast section, then you should indicate any relevant details in the Main cast section. (Although details like deaths are probably best indicated in the plot section.) If a cast member leaves the series, you could indicate that in the character description. Ex: "George Singh as Arjit, the wealthy owner of Singh Pharmaceuticals. Singh was fired from the series in 2017 after complaining about work conditions on set. He filed a wrongful termination lawsuit, which, as of August 2018, is still pending." Any such information would naturally have to be attributed to a reliable source. In this edit I removed the GARV awards from the award list. There's no indication of how or why this award is noteworthy. Their web presence appears to be hosted on Weebly.com, which isn't exactly the most professional presentation. If you have a feeling about these awards, please feel free to respond below, but across the board, we prefer that awards we include are notable, and notability tends to be established best by a Wikipedia article having endured years of community scrutiny. @Cyphoidbomb:The table become's very long if write one week's data in one row, so I combined two weeks and wrote in one row. And the rankings are Nationwide rankings of all the Indian Programmes..I have removed all the ampersands...can u tell me what are substandard referenecs, which are to be removed.. @Pallaviharsh: The ability to spot quality and poor references is one of the most crucial editing skills. See WP:RS and WP:UGC. As a general rule, anything that has the shape of a blog should never be used. That would include anything hosted at blogspot. And technically Tellychakkar is not considered a reliable source, but since it is presumably just parroting the BARC information, I'd be inclined to look the other way. @Pallaviharsh: I think it's still unclear what the ratings indicate. Are these millions of viewers? Market share? Percentage of population? That needs to be clarified. In the plot section there are various sub-sections:

What are these? Seaason sub-titles? If so maybe there should be some introductory prose at the top of the plot section to describe this. Also, these should be translated into English. @Pallaviharsh: So when you called them seasons, that was not accurate? That's fine, but the formatting, especially with the repetition of "Kumkum Bhagya" looks like we're talking about seasons. Anyway, the point of my post was to try to get someone to clarify why we're labeling the subsections that way. So maybe you can come up with a short way to explain why these titles exist, so that readers unfamiliar with the series will understand why we're subdividing the content, but also what the Hindi phrasing translates to in English? "Vermillion in my fate"

In these edits I once again removed the translation "Vermillion in my fate", as it doesn't make sense in English. Literal translations that don't make grammatical sense are not terribly useful without context. So if we're going to translate it, we should either: A) Provide a figurative translation. I'm sorry that after this has languished on the nominations for nine months it must come down to this, but ...

... I can only quick-fail this article, for two reasons:

• "20 years later", the last section of the plot summary, is as tagged in dire need of cleanup ... in fact, I'd just start from scratch and try to write something that will be properly divided into paragraphs and use proper grammar and style. That subsection was frankly in much better shape at the time the article was nominated. Letting this happen during a GA nomination is sloppy.

• More importantly, there are huge swaths of the article that are uncited ... almost the whole cast section, the table entries in the "Broadcast" section, "Streaming", and "Soundtrack". I do not think any of these can be remedied in a week, not when these flaws were obvious during the whole pendency of the nomination, not when someone took so much care to cite other portions of the article.

The point of the main cast section is to identify the primary cast members who appear most often to tell the main narrative. The fact that someone could get a supporting role award from some external agency is irrelevant to this discussion, since external agencies don't get to decide who is or isn't a main cast member. The credits tell us that Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia are the leads of the show. Their names appear first when the show starts and they are on the opening montage of the show. They have been for the last 6 years. @Avinash 1324: By making edits like this, where you lazily mash actors names together and date ranges, both divided by slashes, you are reinforcing the dumbing-down of Indian articles. Indian entertainment articles demonstrably have the worst formatting choices, and it's a real shame because we are cheating people who research these shows out of clear information. Nobody knows what the slashes represent. Did two actors play the character at the same time? Did one actor change their name? Slashes are ambiguous, confusing and lazy. Either adhere to WP:TVCAST and add new cast members to to bottom or use the indented method where we explain in clear English that a new actor showed up to replace another. Plot

@Harshita Bisht: With regard to these changes, while I understand you might be fond of the series, the plot section is supposed to provide a very general overview of the series, not focus on episode-by-episode revelations. Per WP:TVPLOT, the entire plot section is supposed to be under 500 words per season, for a number of reasons including aesthetics, but also because excessive plot can be considered a derivative work, which may become a copyright violation. This series is indicated as having one season, so technically it's already too long. While it might be reasonably argued that there are significant story arcs that might need tidy summaries, it's hard to justify why the 20 years later section is over 900 words long. Plot bloat

@Aleyamma38: Hi there, re: some of your changes in these edits, the 20 years later section is flagged as being too long (WP:TVPLOT wants us to keep plot summaries to under 500 words per season) and yet in your edits your added about another 200 words to that section. How do those changes make the plot section shorter?

The plot section should be focussed generally on the shape of the series, not get bogged down into episode-by-episode revelations. But if the latter is what you want to build, the way to do that would be to build a list of episodes, like what we see at The Boys (2019 TV series). There may be a valid argument that if a series doesn't use proper "season" delineations, that we could summarise a year's worth of episodes (April 2014 – April 2015) or summarise major arcs, like what we're doing by delineating "2 months later", "2 years later", etc. But these arcs should still be concise, not ever-expanding walls of twists and turns. The images are copyrighted and you CANNOT upload them to the Commons project. Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia (played Pragya and Abhishek respectively) left the show in November 2021, their last scene was telecasted on 1st December 2021, in episode 2010. The problem is that people are uploading the image to the Commons project and falsely saying they have a compatible image license. They don't. It's a copyright issue and the images will continue to be deleted as that happens. Several accounts have already been blocked over there for doing that.
