April Fools[edit]

I suggest that on April Fools this page is turned into a page that looks real. Patriciogetsongettingridofhiswiki (talk) 04:49, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fake[edit]

My friend is from Kaliningrad and it is still Russian. 85.249.171.16 (talk) 13:54, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Was your friend not notified of the referendum? 102.4% of Kaliningrad Oblast residents voted to join Czechia. Super Ψ Dro 16:36, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is because, as the article says, it was a satirical meme and the annexation didn’t actually happen. HappyWith (talk) 15:07, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Proper format of renaming[edit]

Please, can someone give proper formate for renaming Kaliningrad by Poland, Lithuania and Latvia in 2023. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65545636 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.220.233.95 (talk) 21:31, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure this is related to the article? You have a source confirming this info you've added, however it doesn't mention "Královec" or even the Czech Republic. These appear to be independent events. Maybe a better target for this info could be Poland–Russia relations and Lithuania–Russia relations. Super Ψ Dro 21:39, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is this joke? To what it should be related? Zoology? This is about renaming Kaliningrad exclave, which was one of point of Královec region meme. However, we can put it in to all those articles - this one and Poland and Lithuanian relations with Russia.--213.220.233.95 (talk) 23:28, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you're so sure of the connection go find a source that actually talks about the meme. Super Ψ Dro 13:00, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
According to this [1] Guardian article, Królewiec was "[Kaliningrad's] name when it was ruled by the Kingdom of Poland in the 15th and 16th centuries". I couldn't find any articles that connect it to the Czech meme. HappyWith (talk) 02:09, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
