Rationale for a Separate Article[edit]

I can anticipate having just created this article that someone will question why this is not contained within the article for the Parc des Princes. It's important to emphasise here that in French public opinion this is not simply an area of a football stadium, but a quasi-organisation which epitomises a brand of football violence and political extremism. It may take its name from the section of the stadium, but as a symbol it is much more than this and retains its own significance in French culture.
