  • I created the bio page for Kipp Marcus, and I want to say that I am NOT a "paid editor". Note that I created this page BEFORE the elance post cited above was posted. I see that elance listing was posted within a few days of my creating the Kipp Marcus Wikipedia page, but the poster on elance states that the Wikipedia page had ALREADY been created at the time (by me). Obviously I can't PROVE that I'm not a "paid editor", but I just want to say, for the record, that I created the page because I was a FAN of Kipp Marcus from his work as a child/teen star on the 80s sitcom The New Leave It To Beaver (on which, he had a leading role for 4 seasons). I did notice that there was quite a bit of interest/activity on his page soon after I created it, so there may have been a "vested" interest in the subsequent editing by other users after I'd created the original page (I think it should be obvious which users began heavily editing the page AFTER the elance post), but again, I want to state unequivocally, I have NEVER met, nor have I had any correspondence with Kipp Marcus (I wish), and I have NOT received any compensation whatsoever for the work I did creating/editing this page. I am a FAN who came to Wikipedia looking for information about Kipp, and when I didn't find any, I decided to "contribute" what little information I could. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.
