Em-dash on average ratings[edit]

@Paper9oll what's the purpose of em-dash on the average on the ratings table of an ongoing drama? Because others don't have that. ♒️ 98TIGERIUS 🐯 17:23, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@98Tigerius Em-dash has always been there as far as I'm aware of, years before you even created an account and started editing, it should only exists for ongoing series. For ended series, it's always (including those with N/A) an average calculation of whatever listed numbers, however those with N/A must be accompanied by efn tag stating "This average ratings is calculated based on the published ratings, the exact average ratings is unknown due to multiple ratings not published". Of course, this is provided that it's well-maintained not in terms of just sourcing and content, I do see plenty of recent articles not following this and of course looking through the page's history and deep diving into ... I can see why that's the case and how it became an "issue" (quotation intended to be read as Air quotes). In fact, the "issue" wasn't even one or if it's even one to begin with (well it doesn't exists years ago nor do I heard it was one to begin with), even heard of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
