King's College, Hong Kong[edit]

I found this article interesting, but think the quality could be improved: a general point is using third person instead of 'us' and 'we' - that'd look more professional; and a more specific one is that it seems that it was never mentioned that it was after which King (KGV, I guess?) the college was named - believe this needs some attention.

Suggest articles about some of these Hong Kong colleges (in particular those which has a connection with British colonial tradition) follow the Oxbridge college style.

Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved. I note this is reversing a previous, undiscussed move back in 2008, but there seems no justification for it, and the edit summary Per Wikipedia:Naming_conventions is too vague to be helpful. Anyway, we now have a strong consensus to move it back. Andrewa (talk) 07:17, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

King's College (Hong Kong)King's College, Hong Kong –The proposed new name is much more natural in the English language, especially for an entity that is not a business or a company. [Also see the example of [The] King's College London.] [It must] also be noted that the name in Chinese, when the geographical specifier is inserted and used, when circumstances arise or dictate, is simply "香港英皇書院", without the use or the employ of such marks or punctuation as brackets or others. • Support – the name "King's College, Hong Kong" seems to be what's typically used in books, so should be OK. Dicklyon (talk) 03:24, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Addition Of Citation[edit]

Hello Wikipedians,

Citation needs to get added in the Establishment and Pre-war era section in the fourth Paragraph in last sentence beside the word "tennis".

Here is the citation link to get added as citation in the sentence "The playground consisted of a jumping pit and one court each for basketball, volleyball and tennis."

Link :https://alchetron.com/King's-College,-Hong-Kong

Please take out some time to check and consider my suggestion related to addition of citation. Prudent CAS (talk) 11:42, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
