Kim Jin-hee (sr) and (jr)[edit]

There are two tennis players named Kim Jin-hee.

On the WTA web site:

  • Jin-Hee (sr) Kim born June 14, 1981. Her WTA career runs from ITF, KOREA, September 8 1997 to ITF, KOREA, May 24 2010.
  • Jin-Hee (jr) Kim born April 14, 1992. Her WTA career runs from ITF, KOREA, May 1 2007 to ITF, JAPAN, May 17 2010.

On the ITF web site:

I don't have time to sort out which player this article is for.

  • Per the date of birth listed in the article it's for the older one.
  • The article links to the older player's WTA profile.
  • The article links to the younger player's ITF profile.

I did not check the match activity, ranking, etc. but suspect information from both players has been mixed in.

I would ask at the help desk on the best name if you want to create a page for the other Kim Jin-hee. Off hand, I'd use Kim Jin-hee (jr). Maybe someone can ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Tennis on if a standard has been developed for two tennis players with the same name. --Marc Kupper|talk 19:35, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I took a look at the tournemants and this article is for the older Kim Jin-hee. I've fixed the link for the ITF profile. --Marc Kupper|talk 00:30, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I was working off the 2003 Hybad open. So it would be the older one. I'll see if the younger one meets notabilty and if she does I'll create a disambig page and move this to Sr. Good twins (talk) 11:49, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
