Can someone please explain to me why the name of John Ireland, Hollywood actor is consistently being re-submitted in the Born in Kilrush section of this page?

John Ireland was born in Vancouver, Canada. As a native of Kilrush I have never heard of any connection between him and Kilrush. Can someone please explain why they persist in re-submitting this error?

"The town has an excellent 18 hole golf course on the Ennis Road." Removing the "excellent" POV, excellent according to who? By what standards? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.47.45.26 (talk) 12:14, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone from Kilrush got a better photo of the Martyrs monument? This one is godawful! Sarah777 (talk) 11:51, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2021[edit]

Could the person editing from an IP address 178.167.193.29 please stop copying in random historical "facts" and trivia from old books? That's not how Wikipedia works. By all means contribute to improving the article, but have a look at other good Irish town and village articles to see what's normally included - and what isn't. Thanks in advance.BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 11:26, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
