Plot[edit]

The plot explaination doesn't explain some details that well. For example, it suddenly mentions that Zira sets her plan in motion without having previously explained anything about a plan. Reading on, one can guess what the plan is but this needs to be re-worked in some way so it isn't so confusing Nil Einne 16:18, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name Origin[edit]

I am removing the following sentence from "trivia": Kiara means "small dark one" in Kiswahili because I can find no evidence for this being true in consulting a Kiswahili dictionary.

It was added back in, don't know when, but I have removed it together with another unverifiable claim of a Swahili translation. ~ Kimelea (talk) 23:00, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorting out sense from nonsense....[edit]

I think the article currently has it backwards. The Italian name Chiara /kjara/ and the Irish name Ciara /kirə/ are unrelated, but because of the accidental similarity of spelling and the modern vogue for trendy respelling of names, "Kiara" may be a variant of either. According to WWWJDIC a (rare) name with the same spelling also exists in Japanese. 2.25.142.27 (talk) 20:33, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
