Chinese names[edit]

Those are two of the listings that I added to new section External links yesterday [1]. LC gives four versions of one or more Chinese names. I merely put them in the {{Persondata}} ALTERNATIVE NAMES field --no effect for our human visitors, but read by some computers; maybe also transcribed manually to WikiData. VIAF does not display any Chinese names for her, WorldCat does some.

I don't know the proper punctuation or labeling, or more complicated layout, either as values of that template parameter or if they appear in the article, nor whether they should appear. I used a single semicolon to group the four in two pairs that I inferred after a hasty web search (not from Google Translate which gives 'Yang Xiaoyan' for both Chinese character strings).

ALTERNATIVE NAMES = Yang Xiaoyan 杨小燕; Yang Hsiao-yen 楊小燕;

(With my browser and Wikipedia settings, the semicolons are not distinct; some parenthetical labels would help.)

Editors User:Hwangjinghai and User:Zanhe, please note. (I understanding this line will generate notices to them. If not, please correct me.)
