Disambiguation, or page on the Kardashian family?[edit]

This is cited as a disambiguation page, but except for a single image (and a Star Trek misspelling) it focuses on three generations of a single family, including lots of information that has no business on a disambiguation page. If the Kardashian family is notable then it should have its own page where such information is presented. I suggest two alternatives:

Convert this to a page on the Kardashian family
Strip the non-disambiguation matter from this page (e.g. Mason Dash Disick, Kris Jenner)

It seems to be a page about the family, so I'm going to move it to Kardashian family. Another reason is for the name etymology, which I feel needs a source, but my {{fact}} tag was removed because disambig pages aren't supposed to have references. If we ever have an article on an unrelated Kardashian, we can make a real disambiguation page. Lesgles (talk) 18:05, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kardashian → Kardashian family – Although this page is billed as a disambiguation page, it really only covers the members of a single family made famous by reality TV. Their notability stems only as members of this family, and thus the page should be moved to Kardashian family. However, there is a complication: Kardashian family currently redirects to Keeping Up with the Kardashians (which confirms the rationale for the move). So, I request that (upon review) the Kardashian family link page be deleted, and Kardashian be moved to Kardashian family. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 02:45, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comment ...this isn't a common surname in Armenia, neither hy. nor ru. wp have articles on non-related Kardashians. There's a historian, Ardashes Kardashian (1943) but not notable. But it won't be long before someone makes a BLP for Ron Kardashian a Christian weightloss guru. He doesn't appear to be related and he has media/book coverage. mmmmm... as above Kardashian family is currently a redirect to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so the proposal is simply to change the title of the "Kardashian" surname article to remove tag Category:Armenian-language surnames and exclude Ron Kardashian.
