Eternal Sunshine...[edit]

While watching "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" last night, I realized that "Juturna" is littered with allusions to the movie:

>"She's got the photos but no recollection..." Clementine has Joel erased from her memory. But then (Elijah Wood's character) tries to seduce her using Joel's photos, poems, etc.

>The title of the song "Meet me in Montauk" is one of Clementine's lines during Joel's sporadic wandering through his memories of her.

>The title of the song "Wish Resign" is an allusion to the Alexander Pope poem from which the movie's title is derived.

I know it's a relatively insignificant album by a smaller band, but I think this is worth noting.

Rumored Concept Album[edit]

I would really, really love it if there was some sort of citation for "It is rumoured to be a concept album based on Anthony Green's battle with cocaine. Some of his ideas for the lyrics appeared to him as he was watching the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind during a cocaine trip." I think while many people would speculate that the album could be a concept album (example #1 example #2), I haven't seen any official statement on it. I do know that Anthony Green is probably fond of cocaine (as seen in a live video with his older band, Saosin. He says, "I'm a big fan of coke and all, but I don't need a bundle of it to go on stage") but I'm not too sure if the album is a concept album about cocaine or the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind even though there are songs that makes references to it ("The Glorious Nosebleed" for Cocaine, "Wish Resign" and "Meet Me in Montauk" for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.) Also, in the second example, one of the members on the board states that he asked the guitarist, Brendan, if the album Juturna had a story or theme and supposedly he said "no." --Cerule 09:21, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Track 7[edit]

I'm pretty sure that Track 7 is just called "Stop the Car", not "Stop the Fucking Car". Every other Internet resource simply lists it as "Stop the Car". I've also seen the album in stores and "Stop the Car" is printed on the tracklisting. However, I'm going to let someone else edit this because I'm not entirely sure, and I might be wrong about this. --64.230.121.49 16:07, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

iTunes has the track tagged as "Stop the Fu*king Car". Unfortunately, EVR has very basic information on the web. No track listing on the official site or merch store. I know I've seen a lot of releases in the past which had the profanity removed from the song title on the CD case. I would go by the liner notes of the CD, if anyone can attest to what is within the booklet? chowski 16:36, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Their Last.fm profile for the album has it listed as 'Stop the Fuckin' Car', and the only people who have a right to upload/edit that information are EVR and Circa Survive themselves, so I assume it's official. However, the CD does just say 'Stop the Car'. I wrote in a note to indicate this. 67.70.163.54 15:30, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you open the booklet and read the lyrics for the song, inside it's titled "Stop The Fucking Car".
