I'll take this review; it will be used for the WikiCup. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 17:16, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A source spot-check has been done:

    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
  4. Is it neutral?

  5. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Source spotchecks[edit]

Seven randomly chosen citations:

  • 28 in combination with 29, cites the sentence "The most well-known month-long observance in the United States in June is Pride Month, which is the celebration of LGBT individuals and the advancement of their civil liberties"; I do not see where "the most well-known month-long observance in the United States" is supported, nor "the celebration ... of their civil liberties".
  • 5 I do not see where "entered English in the 13th century via the Anglo-Norman join, junye and junie" is supported by the source
  • 61 good
  • 21 good
  • 60 good
  • 44 good
  • 13 can't access; AGF

General comments[edit]

  • The nominator is the majority author, so all good on that front.
  • The source spotcheck above shows a couple of issues; I will thus perform another spotcheck before the close of the review.
  • The "Observances" section needs work.
    • The first sentence is about Catholicism, but is not in the "Religious observances" section.
    • I don't see much coverage of non-Christian or non-western holidays/observances. Are there no Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Shinto, Taoist, or Jain holidays which can occur in June? Are month-long observances all North American/Caribbean/British?
  • File:2018 San Francisco Pride.jpg's caption should describe both the immediate context of the image and the background, rather than just the latter.
  • I'll put this review on hold while the above issues are sorted out. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 18:18, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the review! Unfortunately I have had unexpected delays, but I will hopefully be able to get to this soon if you spare me a few weeks. I clicked the 'help me choose' button and this is what it generated - strange, huh? (talk) 23:36, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm willing to keep this on hold for a further two weeks, until 23 April. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 23:59, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
