I can't find any contemporary newspaper information that he played for the Montreal Wanderers in the National Hockey Association. Unless such a source can be brought up to light, I find the claim and the sources brought forward unreliable. It could be he had some type of try-out with the team, but if he did that preferably needs to be sourced as well. He did play as a defenceman with the Acadia University in 1910–11, however, according to a line-up in The (Halifax) Evening Mail from March 1, 1911 (page 3). --Fairhop (talk) 09:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
